Ross on Crash Simulator
Ross has launched a Road Safety Awareness campaign.
Launching his Road Safety Awareness campaign Ross said:
“Far too many people, young and old alike, are losing their lives on our roads. The stories never stop of how a car swerved off the road, a car went down a ditch, a car smashed into another and lives were lost. Road accidents are increasing and road deaths are increasing and we must do all we can to reduce this needless loss of life”
“Today I launch a campaign to highlight Road Safety. I want to see a sea change in attitude take place. Far too many people get behind the wheel of a car with the attitude that they are invincible and pose a risk not only to their own safety but to the safety of others. We need to get into schools and through hard-hitting road safety campaigns instil a respect for cars and roads within people before they even get behind the wheel of a car. I praise the award winning “Driving for Ambition” programme which shows school pupils the results of dangerous driving, it gives pupils tips on how to pass a driving test and helps to increase their knowledge of car maintenance.”

“New drivers should be pressured to take Pass Plus and we need to see an increased police presence on our roads. You may be a very sensible driver but you cannot vouch for others. The safety of all is at risk as long as we have reckless drivers.”
“It’s time to clamp down on dangerous drivers and erase the reckless attitude which seems to prevail among many drivers.”
